I received my MA in Writing from DePaul University, Chicago, in 2004, and my BA in Political Science from University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1998

I have been teaching at McHenry County College since 2006

I was granted tenure during the 2010/2011 academic year

I transitioned into an administrative position as the Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2017

Before teaching I worked as Education Associate for the Chicago Shakespeare Theater
